Our Projects

Oosterweel connection - Antwerp, Belgium

Completing the Ring of Antwerp

The Oosterweel project’s goal is to build a Ring that connects the districts of Antwerp and offer a faster and more sustainable alternative for traffic.

The plan targets the construction of 35 kilometres of new bicycle paths, bridges and tunnels and of additional Park & Rides.

Splendid participated in the pre-design phase of the project, with all capabilities.
Our team is looking forward to the next stage: the final design.

Highway Design, Belgium

Rethinking traffic

We participate in highway design projects that create a smoother and more reliable environment for everyday traffic.

Splendid has redesigned traffic nodes tailored to ease congestion in the residential areas and ensure a functional and safe connection between urban districts, using bridges, underpasses and tunnels over and under the highways.

Our team is committed to providing long-term, cost-effective and sustainable solutions that boost mobility and reshape the overall quality of life.

Wijnegem Bridge - Belgium

Upgrading the Albert Canal

In Wijnegem, a brand new road bridge and a pedestrian & bicycle bridge will replace the existing bridge over the Albert Canal on the Turnhoutsebaan. The replacement is part of a larger project to upgrade Albert Canal, the most economically important waterway in Flanders.

The high level of detail, the automation tools for increased efficiency, and the excellent collaboration with the client deemed this project successful.

Steenbruggebrug - Bruges, Belgium

Increasing mobility in Bruges

A fixed, tall bridge for road traffic and a movable, flat bridge for cyclists and pedestrians will supplant the Steenbrugge Bridge over the Gent-Oostende canal, improving shipping and road traffic around the city while preserving the natural heritage.

Splendid structural engineers contributed with the BIM model of the two new bridges and generated the 2D plans.

Our Visualization team will help the community to envision the project impact in their day to day life.

Sas-Slijkens Locks - Belgium

3D modelling and pre-design of locks

Sas-Slijkens lock complex played a significant role in shipping on Ostend and in the drainage system of the hinterland, until 1903. The thrust infrastructure was highly outdated and in dire need of renewal in order to ensure operational security.

Splendid participated in the pre-design phase of the project, creating the BIM models of the locks starting from the old 2D plans, point clouds and topographic surveys.

Utilities - Sewer Networks

Various utility projects

Starting from the topographical survey, the 2D ground plan of the existing context and our beneficiaries requirements, we produce elaborated 3D models that incorporate all the design data.

Our engineers perform operations such as: extracting the bill of quantities, analyzing the clashes between two different networks or inside the same network et al.
