The redevelopment of the Londerzeel-Zuid junction represents a critical infrastructure improvement for Belgium’s transportation network. This project eliminates a dangerous intersection on the A12 and creates a multimodal solution that enhances safety and mobility for heavy vehicles, cars, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.

Our team implemented advanced BIM techniques to coordinate all design aspects, ensuring clash detection and optimizing construction sequencing while maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders.

We engineered grade-separated roadways with dedicated on- and off-ramp complexes, incorporating sophisticated drainage systems that manage water runoff efficiently while protecting the surrounding environment. These roadways are supported by structural design for critical elevated sections and a dedicated bicycle/pedestrian bridge connecting seamlessly to the F28 cycle highway, ensuring safety for all users while maintaining long-term durability.

Surrounding these technical elements, our landscape design integrates the new infrastructure harmoniously with the environment through sustainable plantings and aesthetic elements that enhance the user experience while supporting local ecosystems.

Throughout the process, we produced detailed technical drawings and compelling visualizations that clearly communicated our integrated design intent, facilitating the environmental permit process and helping all stakeholders understand the project’s comprehensive benefits and implementation approach.
